EarthVision is an environmental science education project involving groups at The Ohio State University and the University of Massachusetts Lowell; high school teachers in Ohio, Michigan, and Massachusetts; and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Teachers in the project have integrated mathematics into environmental topics of science classes through mathematical modeling and data visualization. This is an ongoing project as participants develop new instructional techniques, lessons plans, and curriculum units. |
